Before the appearance of Seliton, opening an online store was a very difficult decision for Bulgarian businesses, requiring:
a) high technical literacy to adapt and deploy a software platform in English, or
b) a large financial investment, starting from 2.500 EUR for the development of an online store by programmers and designers.
Seliton made online stores accessible to every business by providing a fast and affordable start, high quality, hundreds of software features, and free professional support. It is no surprise that even with its first version, the Seliton e-commerce software generated serious media interest. The Creator of Seliton
Everything started in the living room of the talented programmer Georgi Mirchev.
Georgi was very talented at programming. Even as a teenager, he spent entire nights writing software for which, naturally, nobody paid him. While studying “Computer Systems” at TU-Sofia, he also worked and was already being paid well, even in dollars. Besides being talented, Georgi was also resourceful.
In 1999, at only 21 years old, he started entrepreneurship and developed his own Internet business projects aimed at the American market. With the money he earned, in 2003 he founded the software company Mirchev Ideas, specializing in three направления, one of which was e-commerce systems and online stores.
Completely dedicated to the idea of Mirchev Ideas developing high-quality custom software solutions, for three years Georgi managed, programmed, and mentored his team 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. The list of clients and projects grew exponentially, and there were even offers from abroad to buy the company. By 2014, Mirchev Ideas had accumulated more than 2,000 software projects in its portfolio.
Georgi’s greatest passion is creating and promoting proprietary software products. First, because he knows there are fields in which he is a great expert and, like every genius programmer, wants to leave his mark with a significant creation. And second – he believes he can create the best software at the best price.
